Ferroptosis & Iron Chelation in HD
Hypothesis
The script states this question. It was not tested here: Is ferroptosis — iron-dependent, GPX4-regulated lipid peroxidation cell death — a primary neurodegeneration mechanism in HD striatal neurons, and can ferroptosis inhibitors or iron chelators slow HD neurodegeneration?
Method
Checked that run_experiment_20_ferroptosis_iron_chelation.py exists and was not run. No local Ollama server and no Gemini key were available, so the script was not started.
Result
No papers, scores, or biological findings. This run stops at the blocker.
