Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 13, 2026

Overview

HD Research Hub is an open-source, non-commercial research project. We are committed to protecting the privacy of every visitor. This policy explains what data we collect (very little), how we use it (only for improving the site), and your rights.

What We Collect

Information We Do NOT Collect

Analytics

Collection is currently paused. The analytics loader is disabled by default while automatic-collection settings are reviewed. The description below applies when collection is enabled.

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID: G-N8BMJ7ZG5V) to understand how this site is used. This helps us improve the content and prioritize research areas. Google Analytics collects:

Our custom workflow events exclude question and answer text, search terms, study identifiers, source URLs, and reading-level selections. Page URLs sent by our analytics loader omit query strings and fragments. We use aggregate reports; Google Analytics may use cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions, so this should not be understood as fully anonymous collection. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or browser privacy controls. For details on Google's processing, see Google's Privacy Policy.
