Kynurenine Pathway Dysregulation in HD — KMO, IDO1, and QUIN/KYNA Imbalance
Hypothesis
The script states this question. It was not tested here: 1. How well does QUIN/KYNA imbalance explain MSN/SPN vulnerability in HD striatum? 2. Can KMO inhibition (CHDI-00340246, Ro61-8048) reduce HD pathology independently of mHTT lowering? 3. Is IDO1 inhibition (epacadostat repurposing) tractable for HD neuropsychiatric symptoms? 4. Does kynurenine pathway dysregulation interact with other HD mechanisms (NAD+/h021, neuroinflam/h001)?
Method
Checked that run_experiment_12_kynurenine_pathway.py exists and was not run. No local Ollama server and no Gemini key were available, so the script was not started.
